So difficult...
What is it exactly about family photos that is so difficult? Is it keeping the shirts of your three year old and 8 month old clean, cracker and drool free? Is it pulling your husband away from the four conversations he's trying to have at the same time? Is it trying to get your 8 month old's thumb out of his mouth for two seconds? Or is it trying to capture those sweet smiles that you witness all day long as a mommy, but just can't seem to capture on film? Well, for us this past Sunday it was a little bit of it all...

I love the one of Nathan yawning! That is so funny. Candid shots are the best right -- whatever they are doing in the moment. By the way, it's a riot to me that you and Gary are so poised in each picture and the boys are just whatever -- you guys don't look frustrated or anything!

ReplyDeleteEach child you add to the family exponentially increases your chances of having someone (anyone!) in the family looking away. I've learned that pictures with kids acting naturally & not necessarily smiling for the camera are just as sweet. You have to either accept it, or freak out in frustration. :o)

ReplyDeleteGreat family photos! The cammera man had a beautiful family to work with. Grant is growing so much. He is a cutie. Nathan is such a little man. Looks like he is getting taller.
