We're all still here, learning what it means to be a family of four. We would love your prayers over the next week for Grant and I as it seems we have an abundance of doctor visits (just routine, but still...) and we're scheduling his circumcision for next week as well. It's done a little different here since most babies are not circumcised, so it will actually be an outpatient procedure that we have to go to the hospital for... so prayers not only for Grant that he'll come through everything just great, but also for the Mommy and Daddy, that we'll handle our baby having his first "surgery" well. Thank you for all your prayers that you've already lifted up for our family, the peace that we feel even amidst the craziness we're experiencing is a testimony to your faithful prayers! God bless!
"Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am." Philippians 4:13, The Message. We are the Bull Family and whether in living, working, evangelizing, or raising our family... we are trusting, believing and claiming the promise that we can do ALL things through CHRIST who strengthens us and makes us who we are!

ReplyDeletecorban's cir. was done later too. brett had to be the one to hold him down (with some anesthetic meds, of course) during the surgery. brett thought the whole procedure was really cool. nope, not for me. ;)
ReplyDeleteAfter doing some research, we decided not to circ. The circ. rates in the U.S. are going down. Only 55-60% of boys are being circed now. It was around 85% when we were babies. Only 20% of men in the world are circumcised. It might be worth thinking over some more, especially being in a non-circing culture. You can always get it done later, but you can't undo it.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, he's very cute Laura. I think he looks like you. Prayers that your little ones will stay healthy.
Since our younger 2 were born at home, they were circumcised later too. That was a really hard thing for me to take them to! I'll admit, I still wonder if I should have done it. But anyway, I know what you're going through, having to take your little one for surgery, so you & Grant will be in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteHey, I just realized you're only one short of having all 3 boys! How cool! :o)
What a precious baby! Congrats again! Blessings to you all.
